North –
This is according to a new survey of 2,000 North -Americans (30% of whom are parents), who explored the importance of quality time to recharge and barriers to enough.
The results showed that the average respondent only obtains 9.5 hours a month, with the highest barriers are family obligations (50%), labor commitments (32%) and financial restrictions (24%).
Social obligations (22%) and guilt to finally achieve free time (13%) were also listed as reasons why respondents do not achieve the time they want.
A little more than half of the respondents (53%) said that they need more time alone than they are currently achieving. And the respondents said they would be amazing.
Almost 38% of the respondents admit to a couple, friends or family to get a while for themselves.
The most common lie shared among participants was “I do not feel good” (54%), followed by “I have a lot of work to do” (40%), “I have a headache” (33%), “I have an appointment” (33%) and “My phone is about to die, so I cannot speak” (32%).
The survey, conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Apple Vacations, pointed out the amount of the dollar that people attribute to certain relaxation elements and found the average voting respondent values a lazy morning at $ 325.
It is not surprising, then, that people are willing to pay an average of $ 339.8 for only an additional time of sleep.
And the sensation extends to the holidays, with 40% of the respondents who said they have reserved a trip specifically for tranquility and tranquility.
“In a world where silence feels like a luxury, it is clear that people do not feel calm,” said Dana Studebaker, a marketing vice president, consumer brands, Apple Vacations. “They are willing to invest -everyone deserves moments that are really their own.”
How would the respondents pass this precious and uninterrupted?
One in six said they would be happy to do anything as long as it was not a job or an obligation. And one in eight said they would like to read TV or movies (13%) or spend the day on the beach (12%).
Interestingly, two thirds agreed (66%) that the visiting family did not count as a rested holiday.
“When people are ready to spend hundreds or even thousands, only for a little peace and tranquility, it says a lot about the rare that has become the real rest,” added Michael Lowery, world of consumer brands, Apple Vacations. “Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is time without expectation.”
